'Grey' Megalodon tooth 'The Mysterious' (US) - 11,5 cm (4,53 inch)
This 11,5 cm (4,53 inch) Megalodon tooth was found in the US, Florida - in 2020. This Megalodon tooth features a beautiful grey colour. This tooth is about 80% complete, making it a great collectible. This tooth (weighing 140 grams).
The fossil tooth comes from a giant Megalodon shark (Otodus Megalodon) that could grow as long as 20 metres and weigh 60,000 kilos. Megalodon teeth are virtually the only fossils found of this magnificent species, and those teeth speak volumes.
The reason this Megalodon tooth has such dark colours is because we expect it to have attached itself to soil or plant life. This does make the tooth a lot more unique.
